Revolutionize patient journey with gamification

Boost adherence, motivate behavioral change, improve health outcomes, and transform education
into an engaging journey with gamified patient program

The Power of Gamification

Patient Education
Game-based microlearning, through engaging gamification, enhances treatment adherence, improves health outcomes, and encourages healthier behaviors.
Cost Assistance Programs
Rewarding adherence with discounts or vouchers makes medication more affordable, eases financial strain, and conserves budget for those in critical need.
Patient Support Services
Gamification fosters a sense of community, enhancing patient support services by encouraging shared experiences and peer support.
Mobile Health Applications
Gamification increases user engagement in mobile health apps, transforming routine health tasks into rewarding, interactive experiences.
Dosing & Side Effects
Gamification simplifies the understanding and management of dosing, turning complex medication regimens into a manageable and engaging quest.
Gamification is applying game-like elements such as challenges, rewards, and social interaction, aiming to increase patient engagement, adherence to treatments, and promoting healthier behaviors.

How Gamified Patient Journey Works

  • Patients may not be fully aware of the program. Gamification through narratives and initial rewards help introduce the program and engage patients.
  • 02: Registration
Patients might find registration overwhelming. Gamified forms and step-by-step tutorials simplify this process and improve completion rates.
  • 03: Initiation
Patients may hesitate to take the first step. Gamified tutorial missions and reward explanations help overcome this hesitation.
  • 04: Engagement
Patients may miss or ignore reminders. Engaging game-like reminders help maintain patient engagement.
  • 05: Earning
Keeping patients motivated to earn points can be difficult. Clear, attainable goals set in a game context keep them interested and motivated.
  • 06: Spending
Too many options for rewards can overwhelm patients. Gamification by categorizing rewards simplifies the decision-making process.
  • 07: Evaluation
Patients may not see the big picture. Gamified stats and evaluations in simple language increase patient engagement and give a bird's eye view of the progress.
  • 08: Learning
Traditional education methods lack engagement. Game-based microlearning makes education more engaging and comprehensible.
  • 09: Competition
Patients often feel abandoned and alone with their condition. A competition within a game context will ensure engagement.
  • 10: News
Frequent updates can overwhelm patients. Customizable, gamified news can prevent information overload and increase patient engagement.
  • 11: Referrals
Encouraging patients to refer others can be difficult. Gamified referral rewards and simplified processes motivate referrals.
  • Gamified reactivation challenges and rewards motivate inactive patients to rejoin the program.
Gamification enhances patient engagement and education, encourages healthier behavior, enables self-monitoring, fosters social connection, provides positive reinforcement, aids data collection, and is more cost-effective than traditional patient support programs.

Responsible AI Use

  • Content Generation and Transformation
AI generates initial content and transforms existing material into chatbot dialogues and learning tools. All content is subject to client review and approval by a qualified medical specialist before going live.
  • Character Image Creation
AI constructs visually appealing chatbot characters to enhance patient experience. These images, along with character tone of voice, can be modified during development and require client approval.
  • Adverse Event Reporting
AI reviews patient dialogues for adverse events or product quality complaints, promptly alerting healthcare brands. We can also use client-provided pre-trained models and reporting forms.
  • No Personal Data
AI assesses the efficacy of gamification elements using anonymized data. The derived insights are used during development and to optimize notification timing and frequency. No personal data is ever submitted to the AI.
  • Natural Language Understanding (NLU)
We employ NLP to precisely comprehend patient inquiries during chatbot interactions, using Microsoft LLM LUIS. No assumptions are made when the bot is unsure. Integration with other LLMs is possible upon request.
  • No Generated AI Responses
AI only responds to pre-approved inquiries using pre-approved answers, eliminating unsupervised responses. However, we don't control AI usage in third-party software integrated with BrandGame by the client.

About Us

Drawing from 8 years of experience with over 70 multinational pharmaceutical brands, our team has developed a methodology for incorporating gamified patient experiences into healthcare brand's patient support programs. By addressing complex psychological factors and understanding patient needs, we enable healthcare brands to create personalized, engaging gamified experiences that improve treatment adherence without expertise in gamification or programming. These are the projects we have done in the past:
